Each piece is carved and painted by hand, so grain, colour and expression vary slightly from the photos. Decorative item, not a toy.

About this piece

A lovebird carved and hand-painted from solid wood, with seven colour options. The bird measures 4 × 4 × 4 cm, and with its base it is 13 × 8 × 4.5 cm.

It makes a gift for a bird mum, and the listing also offers it as a pet bird memorial. It is a decorative item, not a toy. It is a keepsake figure, not an urn, and we do not describe it as holding ashes. Dust it gently from time to time, and avoid damp cloths and spray cleaners. Each piece is made by hand, so small differences in grain and detail from the photographs are natural.
