About this piece
A long-tailed tit carved and hand-painted from solid wood in a realistic style, in black, white and grey-pink. It measures about 4 × 10.3 × 5.7 cm.
It makes a gift for a bird lover and a collector's favourite, and the listing also offers it as a pet bird memorial. It is a decorative item, not a toy. It is a keepsake figure, not an urn, and we do not describe it as holding ashes. It makes an easy gift to wrap and post, and the photographs show the colours and carving more clearly than any description can. Dust it gently from time to time, and avoid damp cloths and spray cleaners.
