About this piece
A kiwi bird carved by hand from solid wood and hand-painted, with a carved feather texture. It measures 8 cm high, 10 cm long and 4.5 cm wide.
It is a gift for a bird watcher or nature lover, and the listing also describes it as a gentle sympathy gift. It is a decorative item, not a toy. Keep it away from damp, radiators and long periods of strong direct sunlight, and dust it gently with a soft dry brush. Hold it by the base when you move it, and display it where it will not be knocked. It makes an easy gift to wrap and post, and the photographs show the colours and carving more clearly than any description can.
