About this piece
A humpback whale carved and painted by hand from solid wood in a realistic style, with a deep blue gradient. It measures 27 × 5 × 9 cm.
It suits a shelf or sideboard and makes a calm desk piece or a gift. It is a decorative item, not a toy. Keep it away from damp, radiators and long periods of strong direct sunlight, and dust it gently with a soft dry brush. Hold it by the base when you move it, and display it where it will not be knocked. It makes an easy gift to wrap and post, and the photographs show the colours and carving more clearly than any description can.
