About this piece
A large spotted whale shark, made as a shelf centrepiece. At 27 cm long it is one of the largest pieces in the collection, and the spotted pattern on its back makes it recognisable at a glance.
It is made for aquarium, museum and coastal shops, and it is also a good gift for anyone who loves the sea, a diver or a conservation supporter. At home, it suits a long shelf, a mantelpiece or a sideboard where its length can be seen. It is a hand-carved, hand-painted decorative item, not a toy. Keep it on a stable surface. Because of its length, give it a long shelf, and check the measurements before you choose a spot.
