Wild & Whimsical Animal Ornaments

This page collects our wild and whimsical animals: hand-carved figures for people who want something different from the usual cat or dog. You will find the contemplative Possum at the Window, the Elephant, Trunk Raised as a symbol of good luck, the Faceted Panda and the Dapper Lion.

Other pieces include koalas, giraffes, a tiger cub, a crocodile in pyjamas and a frog under a leaf umbrella. The Capybara has a base that can be engraved with a name or a date. All are decorative items, not toys, and each product page lists the size so you can plan where it will sit. Browse these animals together to find a gift for someone who already has cats and dogs, with sizes and finish details on each product page.

Questions

Which of these can be engraved?

The Capybara (Personalised) and the Capybara Parent and Baby have bases that can be engraved, and the White Horse in the farm range does too. The other wild and whimsical animals are sold as they are. Check each product page for details.

What makes the elephant lucky?

The Elephant, Trunk Raised is a soft-grey elephant with its trunk raised, an old symbol of good luck. It is carved from linden wood and painted by hand, and it makes a gift for a new home or a new start. It is a decorative item, not a toy.

Are these figures toys?

No. They are decorative items, not toys. They are made by hand for display on a shelf, desk or windowsill, and are best kept away from very young children. Hold each piece by its base, and keep it away from damp and long periods of strong direct sunlight.
