About this piece
A chubby pink bear in a faceted cartoon style, carved from basswood. It measures 4.5 × 3.5 × 3 cm, about 1.8 inches tall, which makes it a very small desk pet.
It is ideal for perching on a monitor stand or a shelf, and it makes a whimsical stocking filler or small gift. It is hand-carved and hand-painted, a decorative item, not a toy. Check the size above and the photographs to see how it will look on your shelf, desk or windowsill. Keep it away from damp, radiators and long periods of strong direct sunlight, and dust it gently with a soft dry brush. Hold it by the base when you move it, and display it where it will not be knocked.
