About this piece
A calico cat carved from solid wood and hand-painted with acrylic, in a vintage folk art style. It measures 6 × 4 × 12 cm, and the look is inspired by Japanese zakka.
It is a gift for a cat lover or a Mother's Day present, and it brings a vintage touch to a shelf or sideboard. It is a decorative item, not a toy. Each piece is made by hand, so small differences in grain and detail from the photographs are natural. Check the size above and the photographs to see how it will look on your shelf, desk or windowsill. Keep it away from damp, radiators and long periods of strong direct sunlight, and dust it gently with a soft dry brush.
