About this piece
A sitting tabby with a hand-painted vintage finish. The upright pose and soft, aged-looking colouring give it a classic feel, as if it had been on the mantelpiece for years, and it fits traditional and cottage-style rooms particularly well.
It is a classic small-format cat, a good gift for anyone who loves tabbies and a safe choice when you do not know someone's taste. At about 6.5 cm at its largest it sits on a shelf, a windowsill or a desk without taking over. It suits gift and home shops as well as individual buyers. It is a decorative item, not a toy.
