The first six designs

Hand-carved wooden highland cow figurine with a textured carved coat on a wood slice Concept · made to order

Highland Cow Figure

A standing highland cow whose shaggy coat is built entirely from deep, textured carving strokes, hand-finished in warm orange-brown matte paint with softly shaded horns. The fringe over the eyes gives it a calm, endearing character that photographs well at till points. Made to your size brief, with the wooden base available for your engraved wording — a shop name, a place or a short message. A quiet, characterful piece for country and gift ranges.

Best for: Gift shops, garden centres, country parks and heritage attractions

Four hand-carved wooden garden songbirds — robin, blue tit, goldfinch and wren — on a wooden branch Concept · made to order

British Garden Songbirds Set

A set of four garden songbirds — robin, blue tit, goldfinch and wren — carved with faceted feather detail and hand-painted in soft, true-to-life colours, perched on a natural wooden branch. Each bird can also be ordered as a single piece on its own wood-slice base. Made to your size brief, with engraving available on the bases for bulk orders. A natural fit for garden centres, countryside and heritage gift ranges.

Best for: Garden centres, countryside and heritage gift shops, wildlife and birdwatching stores

Tiny wooden woodland set with a fawn, squirrel, otter and toadstools beside a wooden box Concept · made to order

Tiny Woodland Gift Set

A gift set of small woodland figures — a spotted fawn, a red squirrel, an otter and hand-painted toadstools — mostly natural wood with a few soft painted accents, presented in a sliding-lid wooden box. The set can be adjusted to your brief: change the animals, the number of pieces or the box layout. Made to your size brief, with engraved bases available on bulk orders. Suited to museum shops and seasonal gifting.

Best for: Museum shops, heritage attractions, seasonal and Christmas gift ranges

Wooden memorial figure of a sleeping cat with carved angel wings on a blank wooden base Concept · made to order

Angel Wings Pet Memorial

A sleeping cat or dog curled in smooth natural wood, with a small pair of carved angel wings folded behind, on a rounded base left blank for engraving a name or date. A quiet, gentle design for remembering a companion. Supplied in natural unpainted wood to keep the mood calm; other tints can be sampled to your brief. Made to your size brief. Well suited to pet shops, veterinary practices and garden retail.

Best for: Pet shops, veterinary practices, pet crematoria and garden retail

Carved wooden dinosaur set — T-rex, triceratops and stegosaurus — in a wooden storage box Concept · made to order

Museum Dinosaur Gift Set

T-rex, triceratops and stegosaurus carved in faceted wood, available hand-painted in soft naturalistic earth tones or in natural unpainted wood, presented in a wooden storage box. A decorative ornament set for grown-up dinosaur fans and young collectors alike — please note it is an ornament, not a toy. Sets can be adjusted to your brief, made to your size brief, and the box lid can carry your engraved branding. Created with museum and attraction shops in mind.

Best for: Museum shops, science centres and heritage attractions

Wooden otter figurine lying on its back holding a scallop shell Concept · made to order

Otter with Shell Figure

A playful otter shown lying on its back holding a scallop shell, or sitting upright clutching a smooth pebble — both poses carved in warm brown wood with a lighter hand-painted chest. A charming, lightly humorous piece that suits coastal, aquarium and wildlife ranges. Choose either pose, adjust colours and details to your brief, and have the wooden base engraved with your wording on bulk orders. Made to your size brief.

Best for: Aquarium shops, seaside and coastal gift shops, wildlife attractions

Bulk order questions

Are the concept designs available as stock items?

No. Every design on this page is a concept design, produced to order once a bulk order is confirmed. Nothing here is held in stock, and lead times follow the sampling and production schedule shown above. If you need pieces that are in stock and ready to ship within 3 days (UK terms), see our wholesale range instead.

Can we order fewer than 1,000 pieces per design?

The designs on this page are developed for bulk production, so the minimum is 1,000 pieces per design. Smaller quantities are welcome from our existing wholesale collection — browse the trade range or send a wholesale enquiry and we'll suggest designs that suit your quantity.

Can we change the animal, colours or details of a design?

Yes. Each concept is a starting point: colours, poses, the animals themselves, box designs and finishes can all be adjusted to your brief, and every base can carry your engraved wording on bulk orders. Tell us what you'd like changed in your enquiry and we'll confirm what's possible and quote the sampling cost before any work begins.

How does sampling and production work?

Once your brief is agreed, we prepare a sample of your design for approval; sampling takes about 15 days. After you approve the sample, bulk production takes about 30 days, and larger orders can be shipped directly to your country. Send your enquiry through the custom order form and we'll reply with the next steps.

Have an idea of your own? We develop entirely new concepts to your brief too.
