About this piece
A small masked spirit carved from wood, including black walnut, with a shy, spooky-cute character inspired by Japanese folklore and animation. It measures 5.2 × 4.4 × 2.1 cm and hangs on a leather cord.
It works as a keychain, bag charm or pendant, and it makes a small gift for an anime fan. It is a decorative item, not a toy. Each piece is made by hand, so small differences in grain and detail from the photographs are natural. Keep it away from damp, radiators and long periods of strong direct sunlight, and dust it gently with a soft dry brush. It makes an easy gift to wrap and post, and the photographs show the colours and carving more clearly than any description can.
