About this piece
A miniature wooden rocking chair in 1:12 scale, made from laser-cut solid wood and hand-painted with acrylic. It measures 4 × 5 × 6 cm and has a farmhouse feel.
It is a gift for a dolls' house builder and works as a bookshelf sitter. It is a decorative miniature, not a toy. Keep it away from damp, radiators and long periods of strong direct sunlight, and dust it gently with a soft dry brush. Hold it by the base when you move it, and display it where it will not be knocked. It makes an easy gift to wrap and post, and the photographs show the colours and carving more clearly than any description can.
