About this piece
A hand-carved dachshund in a folk art style, with the long, low shape and quirky personality that owners of the breed will recognise at once.
It sits comfortably on a shelf or a desk, and it is a good gift for a dachshund owner, a birthday or a housewarming. The source listing also describes it as a pet memorial for a beloved long dog. It is hand-carved and hand-painted, a decorative item, not a toy. It is a keepsake figure, not an urn, and we do not describe it as holding ashes. Each piece is made by hand, so small differences in grain and detail from the photographs are natural.
