About this piece
A monochrome orca carved from basswood in a sleek, minimalist style and fitted as a keyring. It measures 6.5 × 3 × 2.5 cm, a pocket-friendly size for keys or a bag.
The bold black-and-white look suits someone who likes modern design or loves the ocean, and it makes a small gift for a sailor, a diver or a whale fan. It can also sit on a desk as a tiny sculpture. It is a decorative item, not a toy. Handle the cord and fittings gently, because carved wood is not as hard-wearing as metal. Each piece is made by hand, so small differences in grain and detail from the photographs are natural.
